38 cardboard planes

no successor at all...

Having finished the about 40 mistakes on the Connie and its "cut 'n glue" I saw both display cabinets were filled all the way to the top and decided to quit.

That was five weeks ago and as they say blood's thicker than water, idleness is the parent of vice, the devil finds work for idle hands and every time I open the desk drawer or misclick the Drafsight-icon the hands were itching more and more...


Anticipating the liquidation of the site  'my cardboard planes' - yearly saving € 35 - I thought it over to look for partners in crime on the choice of a 2nd WW jetplane.


From the following set of planes I thought to choose a proper next CAD-candidate and, since it is very well possible that I am not the only one interested, I decided to make use of a poll-option.

A close look at the two right hand planes, the Japanes Nakajima Kikka and the German Messerschmitt Me262 Schwalbe, both - like the Phantom - of a graceful aerodynamic shape, seem to have fallen from the same drawing-board.
